International Student Confused Where Everyone Is

As midterm season ramps up, and first years start to lose that annoying twinkle in their eye, most classes attendance takes a sharp decline. One first year student, Marka Polos,  was confused as to why her fellow classmates, and especially professor, were not as committed to the academic grind as she was.

As Marka walked into her HIS101: Introduction to American History lecture, she was disappointed to see that she was the only one that was able to make it to the 9am lecture. “I was really looking forward to this week’s lecture, we were supposed to get to the part about Christopher Columbus”, Marka sadly remarked. After leaving class, Marka walked across campus dejectedly, feeling like everyone went on the Richard Branson spaceship without her, again.

Happy Thanksgiving from The Boundary!
